Training Recognition Program
The CERT Training Recognition Program has been established to recognize CERT volunteers that have dedicated additional time to learn more about how they can prepare themselves or assist during an emergency or disaster.
CERT volunteers will be recognized at 3 levels as they complete their training.
Basic CERT, Intermediate CERT and Advanced CERT. These levels must be completed in succession. CERT volunteers that complete the Basic CERT Course will be recognized by receiving a certificate from the local jurisdiction that sponsored the course. Those that complete the curriculum outlined for the Intermediate CERT will receive a certificate from the Ohio Emergency Management Agency. CERT Volunteers that complete the curriculum outlined for the Advanced CERT will receive a certificate from the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and an Ohio CERT Challenge Coin.
