Next meeting is Wednesday April 18, 2018

Our training for April will be on Wednesday April 18th from 7-8:30 PM at the Broadview Heights Fire Station #1 on Wallings. Park in the front lot. The GPS/Radio Search training will be outdoors so dress appropriately.

Chief Zamiska has invited CERT members to attend the CPR class on April 24 from 6-8 pm. If you are interested, you must tell Melissa by Friday April 20, 2018.

We still need volunteers for Drug Take Back on Saturday, April 28th. There are two shifts: 9:15-11:45 and 11:45- 2:15. Our new venue in the Service Building across from the community gardens allows us to be out of the weather and very comfortable. If you can work either the morning or the afternoon shift please let me know (

Brecksville Broadview Heights CERT makes a great effort to participate in community events. Quite often we are asked to provide volunteers for traffic control and safety personnel for Operation Medicine Cabinet and Home Days.

All residents of Brecksville or Broadview Heights are encouraged to join. You will be trained on how to respond to an emergency situation; how to take care of your family, neighbors and community. The commitment is up to you.  We have members who are active every month and others that help out during large drills or actual call-out situations.
